Family caregiving supports
Article Abstract:
Worldwide gerontological studies deal with caregiving for the aged as provided by family members. Research efforts show the stressful experiences of caregivers who have to attend to their own families and careers. Some US employers provide their employees with eldercare programs as an added benefit. The correlates of employees' use of such eldercare programs and the reasons behind certain family caregiver employees' use of the program are examined.

Continuity and change in the study of family relationships
Article Abstract:
Gerontological research into the role of family relationships demonstrate a 'healthy diversity' that is truly reflective of real life. At present, such literature may be considered with respect to different topics, types of debates and methodological approaches. Although some themes such as caregiving continue to be rehashed, discourses on childlessness, sibling relationships and grandparenthood have begun.
