Social support and the transtheoretical model: relationship of social support to smoking cessation stage, decisional balance, process use, and temptation
Article Abstract:
The support system that stems from family and friends is observed in relation with the transtheoretical model (TTM) structure in helping to overcome smoking cessation. The most significant source of help is the social support of peers, family, and friends that renders much assistance in the change needed for smoking cessation.
