Article Abstract:
The development of a global economy has shifted the focus of sociology from the constructs of human governance to the humans themselves. As globalization neutralizes the differences between nations, the ways in which individuals combine identity with technological and economic participation has emerged as the new process of cultural development.

Sociology without societies
Article Abstract:
A new mode of representation of society is defined which insists on a society that is more material and historical since the societies are dominated by the increasing separation between the economic and technical world. The object of sociology is to seek the path to liberty through the chaos of a landscape disrupted by war, growth and crisis.

On the frontier of social movements
Article Abstract:
The usage of the notion of social movement is criticized by noting that the nature of conflicts has shifted considerably, to the point that the social movements that merit study are those that challenge mechanisms of globalization. In this regard the expression social movements is replaced with that of cultural movements.
