Stereotype threat and women's math performance
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to analyze stereotype threat and gender differences in mathematical ability. Potential mediational variables were determined from factor analysis. Results indicated that the disruptive effects of stereotype threat on women correlates with their encounter of new math materials at the limits of their skills. Findings also showed that self-efficacy and evaluation apprehension are not mediators of the effect of stereotype threat on the test performance of women.

False memories of attitude-relevant actions
Article Abstract:
Experiments to test the implications of false or unlikely memories for attitudes are undertaken, using a group of undergraduate students as participants. Results revealed that the attitude change occurred only for the target group, and only when the participants imagined themselves doing those attitude-relevant actions.
