Teaching over the Internet: results of one doctoral course
Article Abstract:
Internet instruction was compared to traditional lectures as a way of teaching a doctoral-level social work course. Findings suggested the Internet to provide ample tools to give such a course, especially when chat rooms were used, and students felt that learning compared favorably to the face-to-face method.

Postcourse evaluations of WebCT (Web course tools) classes by social work students
Article Abstract:
The satisfaction of social work students with Web-based course management tools in social work education is assessed. Nontraditional students preferred Web-based tools, indicating Web-enhanced courses to hold promise for accommodating the nontraditional student in social work education.
