The impact of distance education programs on community agencies
Article Abstract:
The impact of two distance education programs on clients, field instructors and cooperating agencies is assessed. Questionnaires completed by students, field instructors and agency directors in the program indicated an increase in networking between the three and in service to clients, as well as new knowledge of modes of treatment available

A comparison ofusing the Internet versus lectures to teach social work history
Article Abstract:
Internet instruction was compared to lectures as a method of teaching social work history.Social work students indicated a preference for teacher contact over Internet instruction and performed better on a posttest when taugh in traditional lectures.
