Ten years of Russian reforms through the eyes of Russians
Article Abstract:
A nationwide sociological survey, "The New Russia: Ten Years of Reforms" was conducted in Russia to study the change in the character of the social environment, people's customary way of life, the spiritual and psychological atmosphere in society, and individual life strategies. Surveys conclude that between the material well-being of Russians and the way that they rate their own lives, as a whole there is no rigorous functional relation.
