The welfare state in the wake of globalization: the case of Norway
Article Abstract:
Norway's ability to retain its well-developed level of welfare services and benefits in an era of globalization where most states have fallen prey to the hegemonic effects of neoliberal capitalism is discussed. The urgency for social work educators and others in the profession, to address this question so that the basic values of the welfare state prevail is emphasized.
