Who supports terrorism? Evidence from fourteen Muslim countries
Article Abstract:
A research note explores aspects of the demand for terrorism and who supports terrorism, using data from Pew Research Center from 7849 adult respondents, from 14 Muslim countries. It is shown that females, and younger persons, and those who believe that Islam is under threat are more likely to support terrorism, whereas very poor respondents and those who believe that religious leaders should play a larger role in politics are less likely to support terrorism than others.

Urban guerrilla or revolutionary fantasist? Dimitris Koufodinas and the revolutionary Organization 17 November
Article Abstract:
The world of Greece's Revolutionary Organization 17 November (17N) was a closed, self-referential world where terrorism was for the members a way of life from which they could not walk away. An emblematic personality of 17N terrorism, Dimitris Koufodinas contended that 17N was an authentic revolutionary alternative to a barbaric, inhumane and vindictive capitalist order that was running amok.

Dhiren Barot: was he an Al Qaeda mastermind or merely a hapless plotter?
Article Abstract:
The life and terrorist activity of Dhiren Barot, a convert to Islam convicted in Britain for planning terrorist attacks, are presented. It is suggested that he represented a security threat, but there is no proof that he was an Al Qaeda mastermind who would go through with his plans.
