Women and mental health; a global perspective
Article Abstract:
Issues are discussed regarding the greater prevalance of mental illness among women worldwide. World Health Organization statistics show a consistency across different societies and cultures of women at the highest risk for such illness, with symptoms of anxiety, depression, and unspecified psychiatric problems the highest among women.

Mental health needs among Cambodian refugees in Utah
Article Abstract:
Many Cambodian refugees living in Utah experience mental health problems due to past traumatic experiences in labor camps in Cambodia. Specialized mental health services are needed to help refugees deal with high incidences of post-traumatic stress syndrome and depression and to promote the use of effective coping strategies.
