Motorcycles with greater horsepower are more enjoyable to ride and are just as safe as lower-horsepower ones. The movement in Germany and other European countries to restricted motorcycle horsepower is shortsighted because it deprives motorcycle owners of the thrill of powerful engines.

Parking lot at Assen
Article Abstract:
A visit to a parking lot in Assen was described. A lot of Japanese well-maintained sportbikes like GSX-Rs, ZX-11s, Yamaha Seca 750s, GPz Kawasakis and Suzuki GS1000s were still being used unlike in the US where new motorcycles easily go out of fashion in less than a decade.

Real versus toy bikes
Article Abstract:
There are motorcycles whose utility makes them real assets, including the Harleys, BMWs, Moto Guzzis and Hondas. In contrast, there are also brands that are considered toys because of their poor performance and features. Examples are the Ducatis, Triumphs and Bimotas.
