The Arctic Ski and Sno-Glo Classic, created by Fairbanks impressario Howie Thies, is a race pitting two-person teams -- one on skiis or a board, the other on a snowmobile -- against each other and the terrain. Skiers or boarders are pulled through the 5.5 mile course at interstate speeds.

1993 Jeep Ski Club Challenge
Article Abstract:
The Jeep Ski Club Challenge will enter its fifth season in 1993. The Challenge allows teams of ski-club members to enter regional competitions according to age group. All participants receive some sort of prize.
