Fishing under the hatch
Article Abstract:
Some fishers make use of dry flies whenever there is a hatch of insects on a trout stream, but the fishing may be even better well below the surface of the water. Large trout, in particular, may continue to feed below the water level as the insects rise toward the top.

Anatomy of a pool
Article Abstract:
The largest trout tend to gather in the quiet, deep pools of large streams. The classic pool is dark, large and deep. A bend pool is located at the spot where a stream's direction is altered. Plunge pools and trench pools are equally good spots for finding trout.
