The $289 Camp 7 Gorilla Pack I is a top-loading internal frame pack that has 5,300 inches of storage capacity. The backpack was tested for three months, carrying around 45-55 lbs. It proved to be sturdy and comfortable. The foam padding and the side compression straps were well-designed.

Gregory Palisade Pack
Article Abstract:
This excellent pack costs less than $200 and does a very good job of distributing gear. It has V-pull side compression straps and holds tent poles and skis better than other packs. The accessory cargo straps can hold large roll-up items. The pack comes in three sizes.
