Change in format recharges Fed Cup

The International Tennis Federation's decision to adopt a Davis Cup-like format for the Federation Cup in place of the traditional one-week format has helped renew interest in the tournament. Organizers are optimistic that the competition can hurdle any other problem as long as there is interest in the Cup.
