Classification of disabled athletes: (Dis)empowering the paralympic practice community
Article Abstract:
The International Paralympic Committee (IPC), the institution responsible for the administration, organization, and management of the Paralympic Games, has reshaped the classification systems developed by the International Organizations of Sport for the Disabled. IPC has transformed them to such an extent that they fail to provide opportunities for equitable sporting practice, posing a threat to the ideology of Paralympism, and this was revealed by examining two classification systems currently used within Paralympic Sport.

Article Abstract:
Human ignorance and negligence can cause great suffering to animals, especially horses. An owner of a mare and a foal who left the mare untreated after the tight buckle of the halter hurt and lead to a wound on the nose was sentenced to a 12 month Jail with $2000 fine for cruelty to animals and was disallowed to own animals thereafter.
