Factors influencing sport participation among athletes with spinal cord injury
Article Abstract:
This article examines social factors that influence athletes to remain physically active after a disabling spinal cord injury. Findings indicate that hospital-based rehabilitation programs play an integral role in reintroducing the patient to sports and that social aspects such as fun, competition, health benefits, and socialization influence long-term participation.

The past developments in cartridge filter technology for industrial dust control and process air filtration and the future of the dust control industry are discussed. Cartridge medias are not only more efficient compared to conventional bag type medias but 'pleated' cartridge type element has also helped to achieve more compact solutions.
