Article Abstract:
The luff curve is one of the tricks used by sailmakers and sail-trimmers in sailing. Usually attached in the mains or the jibs, the luff curves allow the sailmakers to bend the mast when it is windy and flatten the sail when sailing downwind, thus being able to work with the winds anytime.
