Daily body mass variability and stability in active men undergoing exercise-heat stress
Article Abstract:
A study is conducted to quantify the variability and stability of 1st morning body mass (BM) fluctuations during daily exercise in the heat by following traditional fluid intake guidance. The results indicate that three consecutive BM measurements provide an accurate assessment of daily BM variability, which is less than 1% for active men when replacing 100% of sweat losses during exercise, and that daily BM is a sufficiently stable physiological parameter for potential daily fluid balance monitoring.

A case report of idiosyncratic hyperthermia and review of U.S. Army heat stroke hospitalizations
Article Abstract:
A case report on one soldier with abnormal hyperthermia during exercise in the heat is observed and U.S. Army heat stroke hospitalizations are reviewed. It is concluded that acute inflammatory response can increase the hyperthermia of exercise and heat illness susceptibility and health care providers of soldiers and athletes should monitor acute local infections.

No effect of moderate hypohydration or hyperthermia on anaerobic exercise performance
Article Abstract:
Study was conducted to examine the effects of hypohydration and moderate hyperthermia on anaerobic exercise performance in a temperate environment. It was demonstrated that neither HYP nor the moderate hyperthermia accompanying HYP by passive heat exposure affect anaerobic exercise performance in a temperature environment.
