Disability type influences heart rate response during power wheelchair sport
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to determine the influence of disability type on exercise response during power wheelchair competition. The result showed that the disability type influences the heart rate response to power wheelchair sport, and may affect the ability to sustain training intensities associated with fitness improvement.

Arm and leg power output in swimmers during simulated swimming
Article Abstract:
Equipment that can measure the power output of a swimmer's arms and legs on dry land is described. Using this equipment on 22 male swimmers showed that the legs can sustain greater power output than the arms.
