Regulation of skeletal muscle amino acid metabolism during exercise
Article Abstract:
This article examines the physiological processes involved in the metabolism of amino acids in skeletal muscle during intense exercise. Findings indicate that amino acid metabolism influences metabolites involved in the tricarboxylic acid cycle which play a role in mediating aerobic energy production and fatigue in skeletal muscle.
