Fast-forward fixing: vitamin C linked to faster heart-attack recovery

Heart attack patients who began eating foods rich in vitamin C shortly after their attack had lower levels of the enzyme indicator for heart damage than patients who ate diets low in vitamin C. The vitamin C might attract free radicals that might otherwise cause further damage.
