Fish'n tradition: the Avalon Tuna Club turns 100

Article Abstract:

The 64' Spirit of Zopilote owned by Bruce Kessler and built by Northern Marine of Anacortes, WA, was used in a Tuna Club competition in Avalon, CA. The club was created by Dr. Charles Frederick Holder on June 1, 1898, when the first marlin, tuna and swordfish were caught in Avalon.
