Hanks for the memories
Article Abstract:
A sailor describes how has a new experience on every boat he sailed on and even though his knowledge of sailing was far outstripped by his enthusiasm for it, he can only be entrusted with getting the headsail up and down. He describes how he spent most of his time on cruising boats, which were almost universally equipped with hanked-on-sails.
