The mini back bend and the lying-down twist are two stretching exercises designed to relieve tension from back muscles that have become tight from bending forward too much, which commonly occurs while gardening. Pictures and descriptions of the stretches are provided.

Two stretching exercises are presented that will ease both muscle and mental tensions. The shoulder relaxer is done standing. The hand stretch involves starting with the two hands in a prayer position. The chest and shoulders should be straight at all times.
