Article Abstract:
Whales travelling the east and west coasts migrate during months of February and March in popular sailing waters and national marine sanctuaries. Various whale behaviors including turns, breaching and mating dances can be observed by sailors provided they follow imposed regulations.

The Maryland Soybean Board and the NOPEC Corp. are preparing to bring soydiesel to mainstream marine markets. They will offer the environmentally friendly fuel at three fuel docks in the Florida Keys and six marinas on Chesapeake Bay starting Nov. 1996.

National IMS Championship
Article Abstract:
Richard Schulman and Kirk Cooper won the cruiser/racer division of the 1996 National IMS Championship in Newport, RI. Steven Garland placed first in the racing division. Races in the New York Yacht Club regatta are also discussed.
