On the limits of "gaie" spaces: discursive constructions of women's sport in Quebec
Article Abstract:
The article explores through feminist poststructuralism the discursive constructions of women's sport in Quebec that allow for the creation of 'gaie' space of resistance to heteronormativity. This creates an understanding of the method and theory to capture local gender and sexuality realities, with a normalization of lesbian sexuality.
