Ontario has many lakes brimming with smallmouth bass. Lake Huron may provide a fruitful exploration. Baie Fine is a place full of small islands and rock shoals. Lake Obabika is another location with shallow, clear waters and enjoys no fishing pressure.

Moosonee is located at the southern end of James Bay, at the northern area of Ontario. It is rich in North American and Canadian history. Hudson Bay Company was established in Moosonee and is known to be the biggest corporate landonwer in history.
