This article describes the risk factors for osteopenia and osteoporosis, and examines the benefits of physical therapy interventions for those suffering with these types of bone demineralization conditions. Topics addressed include examination of the patient, and factors that relate to healthy bones, including nutrition, hormone levels, and physical activity.

The trip of a lifetime
