Saw grass, steel nuts, and mangroves
Article Abstract:
Florida's Panama Canal still has its characters and stunning scenery, Okeechobee being the heart of Florida with traces of the old Florida still existing. Okeechobee remains a majestic expanse of water measuring some 30 miles across and is the second-largest freshwater lake in the United States, where its lake water is dispersed to the south and east by five canals that run down to Palm Beach and Broward counties, and to the west through the Caloosahatchie River.
