Article Abstract:
Research with colorectal surgery patients indicates that guided imagery exercises on audio tapes can help reduce anxiety, speed healing, and reduce post-operative pain. Patients who heard the tapes used half the pain medication and were released from the hospital a day earlier than patients who did not use tapes.

Article Abstract:
Inline skating compares well with running as an aerobic exercise, without the potential of knee damage. The same cardio-vascular benefits are gained from skating as running. Cautions are given to the novice inline skater, such as the need to take a few lessons, and to wear protective equipment.
