Super single: Hot home-built
Article Abstract:
A single cylinder roadracer built by mechanical engineering student Brian Scott, as his senior engineering project at Oregon State University, is described. The various components used by him were a Honda XR650R engine, Yamaha YZF-R1 fork, an R6 swingarm, frame made of aircraft grade seamless chrome-moly steel, Ducati 900SS gas tank, Aprilia Mille fairing and a Suzuki GSX-R tailsection.

Kawasaki Ninja 650R, built for the sheer enjoyment of riding is launched in comparison with Suzuki SV650S. The Ninja 650R comprises of 649cc parallel-Twin features 38 mm throttle bodies and semi-down-draft intakes, makes 8 fewer horsepower and 3 fewer foot-pounds of torque and weighs 10 pounds more than the Suzuki SV650S with a price of $6299.
