Participants in Pro Stock Motorcycle drag racing do not have many of the safety features that automobile racing drivers have, such as seat belts and roll cages, even though they may reach speeds of up to 180 mph. The sport and its two leading stars, David Schultz and John Myers, are discussed.

The Iceman cometh: cool hand Terry Labonte iced his second NASCAR championship

Stock car racing driver Terry Labonte is quiet and does not have the colorful reputation of many of his competitors, but his cool approach to racing has won him the nickname 'The Iceman,' and it was he who won the 1996 NASCAR Winston Cup championship. Labonte also won the championship in 1984.
