The possibility of practical reason
Article Abstract:
The reasons behind any action cannot be classified as either internal or external because they are not in accordance with the underlying assumptions associated with the use of both terms. The application or use of reason is not limited to agents of a particular temperament but is applied only to those whom it can influence. Susceptibility to a particular reason for acting is similar to the inclination that makes a person an agent.
