No real progress has been made in the design of motorcycle seats. In fact seats were more comfortable in 1969 than in 1992. Seats on all models of motorcycles could be upgraded to be height-adjustable, electrically heated and fitted with air bladders.

A project to transform a Yamaha 750 racing motorcycle to a street version is described. A headlight, taillight and horn were added, but the basic features are the same as those of the bike Kenny Roberts rode to the 1973 Grand National Championship.
