Ventilatory responses to dynamic exercise elicited by intramuscular sensors
Article Abstract:
The relationship between ventilatory control and mechanoreceptors and metaboreceptors in the skeletal muscular system was studied in a research project involving four men and four women. Subjects performed cycling exercises to the point at which they were fatigued. It is doubtful that mechanoreflex can be called the contributing factor to increased ventilation for exercise that is positively marked by lower-body pressure.

Differential baroreflex control of heart rate in sedentary and aerobically fit individuals
Article Abstract:
Baroreflex control of heart rate has been studied in sedentary and aerobically fit subjects with the finding that likely the integrative relationship of aortic baroreflex (ABR) and carotid baroreflex (CBR) contributing to arterial baroreflex control of HRT is inhibitory. Likely it is not changed by exercise training. Data show that reductions in arterial-cardiac reflex sensitivity are mediated by lowered ABR function. .

Effects of endurance training on resting and post-exercise cardiac autonomic control
Article Abstract:
Research presented finds that endurance-training impacts cardiac autonomic nervous system modulation and heart rate recovery after exercise. Topics addressed include the adaptation of the autonomic nervous system, variability in heart rate, and bradycardia.
