Virginia's False Cape: if wildlife watching is your objective, take a hike through this ocean-side state park
Article Abstract:
False Cape State Park is not accessible by car, but only by hiking, biking or boating. For this reason it is Virginia's least visited park. Abundant birdlife can be spotted including egrets, sanderlings and pelicans. Ghost crabs and web-footed rodents are also common.
