John and Mary Lou Blackwell left the US in 1969 and eventually established Moose Lake Lodge in British Columbia, where the rainbow trout are plentiful and literally leap out of the water. A visit to picturesque Moose Lake is described.

Warm weather sends many fish species to cooler lower depths. Sonar fishing tools can give a picture of the lake bottom topography, where fish congregate . Jigging and crankbaits can then effectively lure bass.
