The Washington Bullets suffered through numerous uninspiring seasons during the 1980s and early and mid-1990s, before being renamed the Wizards and gaining inspiration from players such as Chris Webber, Juwan Howard, and Rod Strickland. The three players have transformed the team to one of great potential.

The 1992 American Olympic basketball team should completely dominate all competition in the games. The same should apply to the 1996 games, but the domination may not last beyond that. The international popularity of basketball is growing, and other countries are expected to improve rapidly.
