Odd versus even: comparative statics in multicommunity models
Article Abstract:
The welfare effects of a given social policy are Pareto improving if the number of communities are even and not if they are odd. The study points out that intervention depends critically on whether the number of communities are odd or even with regards comparative statics properties of multicommunity models. Also, the study allows for the ability to obtain perfect sorting despite the disparities in the number of types of individuals and the number of communities.

Article Abstract:
It is vital that leisure facilities ensure that their washrooms are kept in a clean and attractive state, especially if the washrooms are used by tourists, who may gain a very poor impression of the UK if washrooms are not properly maintained. This is the reasoning behind the Loo of the Year competition, which is sponsored by Cannon Hygiene and the British Tourist Authority and has been running since 1986.
