Blackpool Pleasure Beach wants commercial partners
Article Abstract:
Blackpool Pleasure Beach is seeking a sponsor for its new 15 million pounds sterling high speed, water-based ride, Valhalla, which is due to open in Spring 2000. The six-minute ride is a re-enactment of the journey undertaken by Viking heroes to achieve immortality after death. Blackpool Pleasure Beach is considering the construction of its own hotel, with 7.1 million people visiting the tourist attraction in 1998. American Express is running promotions for cardholders who visit the park.
