Business is booming but agents are missing out
Article Abstract:
Uranian Travel is a UK tour operator which specialises in arranging holidays for gay people. The Canary Islands, Ibiza and Sitges are the most sought after destinations. AIDS had affected this trade badly as many gay people chose not to travel abroad on holiday during the 1980's, however in recent years trade has improved. Gay tour operators now offer competitive rates and Uranian Travel offers holidays in the Algarve, Dublin, and plans to include Key West next year.
