Carole Bradley
Article Abstract:
Carole Bradley was promoted to Chief Executive of the British Sports Association for the Disabled (BSAD) in December, 1991. Her aim is the integration of disabled sports into the mainstream of sports provision. She emphasises publicity and education in disability awareness. Since its establishent in 1961 the association has established a leading advisory role on disabled provision within sporting facilities. Sports Council funding of 14,000 pounds sterling is supplemented through donations and corporate sponsorship.

Heritage in season
Article Abstract:
English Heritage has launched a programme of events for summer 1992. Musical, sporting and historical events are part of a marketing strategy to raise revenue. Historical events have proved particularly successful in attracting return visits to heritage sites. Season highlights include the staging of a battle at Helmsley Castle on Jul 25, 1992 to commemorate the English Civil War.
