Going for gold
Article Abstract:
The International Olympic Committee (IOC), in charge of the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, Georgia, seeks to achieve long-term financial security for the Games without jeopardising sporting needs. The IOC will make the most of sponsorship investment by banning commercial advertisements at the Games and encouraging its own product marketing to a world-wide audience. It will make an estimated three billion American dollars from services, including ticket sales and television licensing arrangements.

Olympic gains
Article Abstract:
The sports buildings and facilities for the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, Georgia have taken a huge amount of effort to co-ordinate and build to schedule. The Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games has overseen the project. The Olympic Stadium will seat 83,000 people and will used as a baseball stadium after the event. Some doubt is expressed over the comfort of the seating arrangements in extremely high temperatures. Atlanta will benefit enormously from the publicity of the Games.
