Hiroshima humbles its visitors
Article Abstract:
Hiroshima, Japan, is a bustling city with sushi bars, neon signs, and department stores that foreign visitors expect to find when visiting a Japanese city. However, tourists are aware that a dreadful event took place in this city and have a similar feeling to that of visiting Auschwitz. The A-Bomb Dome is the only building still standing in Hiroshima as a monument to the use of the atomic bomb at the end of World War II, unlike many other war memorials that testify to the horrors of war.

It is wrong to state that all-inclusive holidays make little contribution to the local economy, according to Sandals Chmn Gordon Stewart. He acknowledges that not many of the company's clients visit local restaurants, but points out that all-inclusive holidaymakers have significant spending power, as they do not spend money in the hotel. Sandals plans to attract more clients from Europe, and also wishes to expand its choice of destinations.
