John Wardley: Tussauds' consultant director was one of the first designers to translate US theme park concepts for British audiences, with memorable results
Article Abstract:
John Wardley is Tussauds' consultant director, and has collaborated with them on the Windsor show, Royalty and Empire. He was first asked by Tussauds to update the fun fair at Chessington Zoo and the result was Chessington World of Adventures, and Wardley has since worked as an advisor on all of Tussauds' parks. He likes to be part of a project and to see how it is operating and believes that projects should be steered in a creative direction.

Thorpe Park
Article Abstract:
Thorpe Park amusement park offers good value for money, despite a few criticisms which mainly centre around the food service. The park boasts a variety of franchised outlets, including Kentucky Fried Chicken, Pizza Hut and Burger King, although it is questioned whether a themed concept would add more to the themed nature of the park. An overview of the park is provided.
