More than just a miracle economy
Article Abstract:
Few European tourists visit South Korea, partly because of the long travel time involved and partly because the country is mistakenly perceived as being too strongly influenced by China and Japan. Business travelers accounted for the majority of the 423,000 Europeans who visited South Korea in 1996. South Korea offers beautiful countryside and a distinctive cuisine, with the rapidly changing society generating an exciting atmosphere. The country's economy has faltered after rapid growth and now needs to be restructured.
