Article Abstract:
The new O2 leisure centre opened on Finchley Road in London, England, by Burford Group on Nov 25, 1998, is located on a 12.5 acre brownfield site. It has a range of leisure facilities, including 10 restaurants, an eight-screen Warner Village multiplex, First Leisure's Esporta health and fitness centre and a large Books etc. The development as a whole is designed to offer a haven from the noise and bustle of the world outside, and extensive use has been made of natural materials. There is onsite parking for 561 cars, and the centre is easily accessible by bus, rail and tube.

First Leisure is launching Eros, a new type of club where each bar area has a different theme. The company uses information from its customer database to build profiles that can help it identify areas that could sustain a 2,000 capacity club.
