Trial sites were opened in December 1995 in Sutton and Watford, UK. The public houses offer a variety of beers and lagers to invoke interest in customers. According to Furness-Smith, profit is better than expected and turnover is 300 pounds sterling a square foot. A decision on expansion of IceObars will be based on the results of customer research.
