Germany's leisure industry is predicted to be worth 520 billion German marks by the year 2000. The fastest growing sector is cinema multiplex developments, which had an audience of 125 million in 1995. Start-up costs of a cinema are 25 million-40 million German marks, with 15-18 German marks made from each visitor. Theatres are also a fast growing market, often being built on the site of multiplex developments. Over 200 leisure parks in Germany provide 2% of total expenditure on leisure and attract 24 million visitors a year. Future growth lies in US leisure concepts such as Disney and Warner Bros.

Bremen blasts off
Article Abstract:
The theme park, Space Center Bremen, which opened in Bremen, Germany on February 2004 included a virtual reality indoor roller coaster, simulators and a 4D adventure cinema, was a high-tech attraction for the consumers who could enable the experience of space technology. The entrance to Space Park Bremen leaded the guests to an array of rides that included Galaxie Express that passes through the entire Space Center.
